Red Urgent Specimen Bags

The Pathology Red Urgent Specimen Bags were primarily designed for use by the A&E department. When specimens arrive at Pathology Reception in these red bags, they help separate and highlight A&E specimens from general GP and ward specimens. In larger hospitals, some specialist departments also have time-sensitive specimens, and the red urgent bags serve as an effective way to distinguish their specimens as well.
