CD's Patient's Own Medicine Bags
About this product...
Elective patients that come onto the ward with their CD’s for the Pharmacist to assess, will need a tamper-evident bag for storage. The bag can then be placed either in the ward CD cabinet or stored in the Pharmacy department and returned to the patient when discharged.
Because of the nature of the drugs, hospitals do not allow CD’s to be stored in the patient’s bedside locker.
All patients CD’s are the property of the patient and are not used by the hospital, but are purely there for assessment by the pharmacist when the patient is admitted.
Benefits
- Tamper evident
- Consecutive number to record patients medicines
- Clear material to easily view enclosed contents without the nurse having to reopen the bag when sealed in pharmacy
- 100% Recyclable Polythene
